DX8000 – Enabling tip (with tip guides)
Learn how to enable tip prompts and customize up to 5 gratuity/ tip guides on your terminal.
Enabling tip (with tip guides)
- From the Main Menu, click the three lines on the top left corner of the screen to access the menu option.
- From the Menu option, swipe up and select “Settings”.
- Enter Username and Password then press “Confirm”.
- Select “Transaction Tab”.
- From the Transaction menu, swipe up and look for “Tip amount Prompting” and select option “Prompt For Tip”.
- Swipe up and look for Gratuity menu then select the Tip Percent Number to change. Once Tip Percent has been changed, press “Confirm” to apply changes.
Note:
- Only Manager credentials can enable/disable settings.
