DX8000 – Adjust screen and powersave time out
Learn how to configure screensaver and sleep mode timeout settings on your payment device; these settings can help to conserve the terminal’s battery life.
Adjust screen and powersave time out
- From the Main Menu, click the three lines on the top left corner of the screen to access the menu option.
- From the Menu option, swipe up and select "Settings".
- Enter Username and Password then press "Confirm".
- Select "System".
- Select "Generic screens timeout".
- Adjust the Generic screens timeout and press "Confirm".
- Swipe up and look for "Power save timeout"
- Adjust the Power save timeout and press "Confirm".
Note:
- Enter number expressed in seconds.
- Only Manager credentials can enable/disable settings.
