Why consider government contracting?

The Small Business Administration (SBA) says it best.

 

"The U.S. government is the largest customer in the world. It buys all types of products and services — in both large and small quantities — and it’s required by law to consider buying from small businesses."

 

That’s right. The government is legally required to consider purchasing goods and services from small businesses. Which means that, in order to fulfill their obligations, government agencies actively search for opportunities to partner with small business owners.
