5 things you don't want to miss at the Chase Sapphire Lounge by The Club at LaGuardia Airport

March 12, 2024

New York City's LaGuardia Airport (LGA) has emerged from a serious glow-up, and is now home to one of the most modern terminals in the country—plus a new lounge for eligible travelers to visit when they fly from Terminal B.

With more than 21,800 square feet of space spread across 2 amenity-packed floors, the Chase Sapphire Lounge by The Club at LGA offers self-serve and a-la-carte dishes, a full bar, wellness area and a retro game room.

Every guest has access to the main lounge areas, with complimentary food and drinks from a handful of New York City institutions. You'll get all-day fare from standout spot Joseph Leonard, barista beverages from Joe Coffee, craft cocktails from Apotheke and a wine list curated by Parcelle.

In short, you'll want to show up to the airport early. Here are 5 things you shouldn't miss at the Sapphire Lounge at LGA.

    1. Order dishes directly to your seat

Menus at the lounge are updated seasonally—a-la-carte dishes might include made-to-order omelets at breakfast; egg-and-cheese bao, or the Sapphire burger (served on brioche with tomato confit, pickle chips and fries) at lunch; plus seared salmon, lentil ragout, Joseph Leonard's carrot cake and more.

    2. Try an Apotheke cocktail

As soon as you enter the lounge, you'll notice the large, circular bar. Get a cocktail from Apotheke, a beloved speakeasy that got its start in New York City's Chinatown and plays homage to the absinthe lounges of 19th-century Paris. Order the lounge's namesake, the Sapphire, served in a martini glass with gin or vodka, blueberry and goldenberry juices, lime, ginger, bee pollen and a blend of spices.

    3. Book a Face Haus facial treatment

Lounge guests can book one of the dedicated wellness rooms for a complimentary facial treatment from Face Haus, a women-owned facial bar with locations in New York City and across the country. Scan the QR code at your booth or table as soon as you arrive to make a same-day reservation and take home a Face Haus skincare travel kit after your 30-minute treatment.

    4. Find the hidden game room

Step through the family room to reach the dedicated game area. With a retro vibe—velvet chairs and boom boxes on the bookshelf—guests will find a jukebox, a shuffleboard table and a pinball machine.
