Flying out of Philadelphia? Don’t miss the Chase Sapphire Lounge by The Club ahead of your next flight. With cozy seating, a game room and a range of signature Philly bites like soft pretzels and cheesesteak sliders, the new lounge is a love letter to the City of Brotherly Love.

    Inside the Lounge

Philly artist James Burns’ Portals and Pathways mural is a beer garden centerpiece.

Philly’s Sapphire Lounge is one of the largest locations in Chase’s airport lounge network, with an array of amenities spread across 20,000 square feet. You can find it in the connector between Terminals D and E,  just after the Terminal D security checkpoint.

With floor-to-ceiling windows spanning the full length of the lounge, the space feels airy and bright, with unmatched views of the airplanes below. Soft lighting, light wood floors and textured wall panels help elevate the space, with colorful artwork including a custom mural by Philly artist James Burns of Mural Arts.

As you wait until it’s time to head to your gate, you can cozy up with a book by the fire, grab a local brew and fill up on soft pretzels and cheesesteak sliders in the beer garden, or sit down for a made-to-order meal in the airy dining room—or, if you’re traveling on business, fire off emails from a booth with views of the tarmac, or join a meeting from a private phone room.

    Food and Drinks

Enjoy dishes from the lounge’s all-day menu starting at 11 a.m.

Want to grab a bite to eat before your flight? There’s plenty to choose from at the servery, the lounge’s self-serve area. Or, you can scan a QR code at your table and have a meal delivered directly to your seat.

The breakfast menu, which is available from 5 to 10:30 a.m., includes seasonal dishes that might include a made-to-order omelet with red pepper, spinach and feta; an egg-and-cheese bao bun; and a deli-style breakfast burrito from Philly’s own Middle Child Clubhouse, stuffed with steamed eggs, tater tots, bacon, pepper relish and cheese.

Hot and cold items from the servery might include an Indian-spiced tofu scramble, French toast with apple-bacon jam, a beet smoothie or a quinoa bowl with smoked salmon, kale and avocado vinaigrette.

Visiting later in the day? You can enjoy dishes from the lounge’s all-day menu starting at 11 a.m.

Middle Child Clubhouse marks its lunchtime return with the Shopsin Club sandwich, which includes roasted turkey, bacon, lettuce, sweet pickles and cranberry-miso mayo. For ready-to-eat items, you might choose a kale and avocado salad, braised beef nachos or roasted cauliflower.

If you have time to sit down and enjoy a made-to-order meal, try the signature Sapphire noodles with broccoli, edamame and rice noodles, or the Sapphire burger, served on a brioche bun with tomato confit, pickle chips and French fries. Help keep little ones happy with crowd-pleasers like chicken tenders and grilled cheese.

You can also order a range of beverages, including local roasts from Elixr Coffee; premium wines curated by Parcelle; and cocktails like the Philly Special, made with vodka, elderflower liquor and lemon juice.

This lounge even has a dedicated indoor beer garden—a nod to the city’s brewery culture—with hanging plants, bar and table seating, and lots of natural light, plus local brews from Callowhill’s Love City Brewing, Fishtown’s Evil Genius and Yards Brewing on Spring Garden. You can order beers individually or as a flight, alongside bites like Philly cheesesteak sliders, soft pretzels and potato pancakes.

    Lounge Amenities

Book a private rest pod, or a facial treatment from Face Haus.

If all you want is to relax and unwind before your flight, head to the dedicated wellness area, which has bookable private rest pods, on-demand Devi Brown meditations and facial treatments from Face Haus. There are also shower rooms, a dedicated nursing room, a family room and a play area.

Kids and adults alike can also pass the time in the game room, with arcade machines like Street Fighter and Pacman, a fun Philly sports display (Go Birds!), and a giant multi-screen television wall so you don’t miss a moment of the game.
