This waterfront venue in San Francisco’s Mission Bay neighborhood is the only stadium of its kind in the city. Planning your route in advance may help you arrive on time, regardless of which mode of transportation you choose.

    Transportation options to Chase Center

    Located at 1 Warriors Way, you have multiple transportation methods to choose from. Here’s how you can travel to Chase Center:

    • Public transportation
    • Car
    • Bike
    • Ferry
    • Ride share or taxi service

    Traffic conditions and transit times may vary. Accessing real-time transit information and giving yourself plenty of time for travel may help you avoid missing out on the event. 

    Public transportation to Chase Center

    Muni, San Francisco’s network of fuel-efficient buses, provides direct service to Chase Center or nearby locations, as well as connecting service from other public transit options. You may also travel by rail or ferry, which put you within a 15-minute walk of Chase Center.

    Muni

    According to the San Francisco Mass Transit Authority (SFMTA), “Muni is the fastest, most convenient way to get to Chase Center.” Plus, you can get complimentary rides on Muni when you present your same-day event ticket at Muni boarding platforms and fare gates.

    These Muni bus lines take you close to Chase Center:

    • T Third Street: On event days, this line services UCSF/Chase Center and Chinatown-Rose Pak Station and runs every 10 minutes.
    • 22 Fillmore: This line’s daily schedule provides service to Chase Center.
    • 78X 16th Street Arena Express: Need to get to the 16th St. Mission BART (a stop on the local rail system)? For 2.5 hours before an event and one hour after, this line provides express service to and from Chase Center.
    • 48 Quintara and 55 Dogpatch: These lines both put you within roughly four blocks of Chase Center.
    • 91 3rd Street/19th Avenue Owl: This late-night bus network stops at 3rd St and Warriors Way around every 30 minutes.

    BART

    Bay Area Rapid Transit (BART) is a heavy-rail public transportation system in San Francisco. It connects the San Francisco Peninsula with the East and South Bays. Visitors may get to Chase Center when they use these BART rail lines to these stations and connect to a Muni line:  

    • Powell Station: Travel to Union Square/Market Street Station via the S Shuttle Mission Bay or take T Third Street to UCSF/Chase Center (16th Street) platform.
    • 16th St. Mission Station: Connect with 78X 16th Street Arena Express and get express service to Chase Center.

    Caltrain

    This commuter rail line puts you within walking distance of Chase Center. The San Francisco Station is approximately a 15- to 20-minute walk from the venue. You’ll walk on 4th Street and turn left on Gene Friend Way to Chase Center.

    Another option is to transfer to the T Third Street line at the platform on 4th Street, which is located between King and Berry. Exit the bus at the UCSF/Chase Center (16th Street) stop. 

    Ferry

    Travel by sea to your event at Chase Center on the San Francisco Bay Ferry. From Oakland or Alameda, you may go to and from this waterfront venue for all Golden State Warriors Home Games.

    The ferry typically departs about 30 minutes after the final buzzer. It leaves no later than 11:30 PM. You’ll land at Pier 48.5, which is about a half-mile walk from Chase Center.

    Alternately, you can make complete your journey by connecting from the ferry to Chase Center with Muni.

    Biking to Chase Center

    At Chase Center, you may use a complimentary bike storage area, which is monitored by staff. The room is open an hour before and an hour after an event.  

    You’ll find public bike parking on 16th Street and Terry Francois Boulevard. If you’d like to rent a bike, you’ll find bikeshare stations around Chase Center. 

    Using rideshare services to get to Chase Center

    If you’re getting to the game via a rideshare service, enter “Chase Center” as your destination. You’ll find passenger loading zones on Terry Francois Boulevard, which are marked with white curbs.

    On the Chase Center Visitor Information page, it is recommended that you leave the stadium before requesting a ride. In many cases, rideshare apps give you the best options for pickup locations, which usually account for any street closures related to the event.

    If you’d like to avoid the crowds at these pickup locations after an event, you may walk a few blocks away from the arena before requesting a ride.

    Parking your car at Chase Center

    Chase Center parking options in and around the venue are limited. The arena has two garages where you may park:

    • Mercedes-Benz Garage at 99 Warriors Way
    • Warriors Way Garage at 150 Warriors Way

    You’ll need prepaid parking passes to park in these locations, and availability is limited. Knowing the driving directions and drive times may help you time your arrival so that you have enough time to park. 

    Accessible parking spaces

    Chase Center offers a limited number of ADA (American Disability Act) parking spaces at Mercedes-Benz and Warriors Way Garages. When you prepay for your parking pass on Ticketmaster, choose ADA Parking as an add-on to your event. You’ll need to display your ADA placard when you enter the garage.

    When the ADA parking spaces are full, the parking attendants will usually try to accommodate you and find a parking spot near an accessible entrance.

    Off-site parking

    Chase Center lists these additional parking options in the Mission Bay neighborhood, which are run by third-party operators:

    • 1800 Owens Street
    • 19th Street/Illinois Street
    • Lot A at 74 Mission Street (available where there are no events at Oracle Park)

    EV charging spots

    Driving an EV? A limited number of EV charging spots on the second level of the 99 Warriors Way Garage. ChargePoint AC/Level 2 chargers are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Please see the attendant for assistance. Prior to charging your vehicle, you’ll need to purchase a parking pass for your event and download the ChargePoint app.

    Public transit options, including Muni, allow you to travel to the venue from within and around San Francisco. You can even take a ferry to Chase Center. The arena has unique parking options, such as a monitored area for bike storage and parking spots with EV charging.
