    Does Detroit Airport have Priority Pass lounges?

    Yes, the Detroit Airport does have one lounge in the Priority Pass network. Priority Pass members, Lufthansa business class passengers and premium United passengers flying domestically can visit the Lufthansa Lounge.

    Lufthansa Lounge is located in the Warren C. Evans Terminal. Turn left after security and the lounge is located next to Gate D8. Amenities include complimentary food and beverages, high-speed Wi-Fi and more.

    Guests can stay for a maximum of three hours and must present a DTW outbound departure boarding pass with confirmed same-day travel to enter. Children under two receive complimentary access.

    How to access Priority Pass lounges at Detroit Airport

    Lufthansa Premium passengers and Priority Pass members may access participating Lufthansa airport lounges. If you join Priority Pass, you'll receive a membership card in the mail and your digital membership card will become available via the Priority Pass app. To enter the Lufthansa Lounge, or other lounges in the Priority pass network, present your physical or virtual membership card, boarding pass and identification.

    In addition to the Lufthansa Lounge, Priority Pass members can access two Be Relax Spa locations and a Minute Suites location.

    Be Relax Spa

    There are two Be Relax Spa locations in the McNamara Terminal:

    • Near the south end of the terminal, near the Starbucks at Gate A18
    • Near the middle of the waterfall between Johnston & Murphy and Vino Volo

    Minute Suites DTW

    Minute Suites provide travelers with a private suite to nap, relax, work and/or shower before departing flights, during layovers or in the event of delays/cancellations. The Detroit Minute Suites location in the McNamara Terminal near Gate A66 and is open 24/7 (hours subject to change).

    Amenities include:

    • A daybed sofa (sleeps two)
    • Fresh blankets and pillows
    • A workstation
    • Amazon Alexa (for music, white noise, alarms, flight tracking, weather and more)
    • Complimentary Wi-Fi
    • Smart TV
    • Showers

    Minute Suites access is a Priority Pass airport benefit. Members can use a single lounge visit entitlement to visit a Minute Suites location for a one-hour stay.     To reserve a suite in advance, visit the Minute Suites website. A minimum stay of at least 1-hour and 15 minutes must be booked in order to reserve online and guarantee suite availability prior to your arrival. Reservations are highly recommended as private suites may be in high demand, especially during peak travel times, in the event of mass cancellations and/or delays, etc. 

    Please note that complimentary one-hour reservations using a lounge entitlement are not available to be booked online and may only be booked in person, at time of arrival, and are based upon availability.

    How to get Priority Pass membership

    You may access lounges in the Priority Pass network once you sign up for a membership. There are two primary ways to join: buy a membership or receive a complimentary membership as a credit card benefit. Here's how both options work:

    Buy a Priority Pass membership

    There are three tiers of Priority Pass membership with varying benefits and membership fees: Standard, Standard Plus and Prestige.

    The Prestige plan offers unlimited lounge visits for no additional visit fee, which may make it a good option for frequent travelers. For those who travel on occasion, the Standard or Standard Plus plans might be better choices.

    Complimentary Priority Pass Select™ membership with Chase Sapphire Reserve

    Some travel credit cards, like the Chase Sapphire Reserve, provide complimentary Priority Pass Select membership (annual fee may apply). This membership level is not available for purchase; it's specifically for customers of a U.S. bank or financial institution.
