What are payment links?

 

Payment links are a built-in feature of the Chase Mobile app, Chase Business Online and the Chase POS app — available with your Chase Business Complete Banking℠ or or your Chase Payment Solutions account. Payment links let you accept payments quickly and securely without additional hardware. Just generate a unique link, share it with your customer and get paid.

Activate QuickAccept℠

 

Using you Chase Business Complete Banking account, activate QuickAccept on chase.com or in the Chase Mobile app. Visit this page to learn how to do it.

Payment links are available in the Chase POS app. Chase Mobile app and on Chase Business Online.

Create and send a link

 

Follow the instructions for your payment solution of choice to create and send your first payment link to a customer.

How do I create and send a payment link?

 

For Chase Mobile app users:

  1. Swipe left on your Chase Business Complete Banking account or the Payment Solutions tile
  2. Choose Accept
  3. Choose Accept a card payment
  4. Enter the transaction amount and the purpose of payment in the Memo field
  5. Choose Payment link
  6. Enter your customer’s name
  7. Choose Create
  8. Share the link via email, text or another application

 

For Chase Business Online users:

  1. Choose Collect and deposit
  2. Choose Accept card payments
  3. Choose New sale
  4. Enter the transaction amount and the purpose of payment in the Memo field
  5. Choose Payment link
  6. Enter your customer’s name
  7. Choose Create
  8. Share the link via email, text or another application

 

For Chase POS app users:

  1. Enter an amount on the Enter sale amount tab

    • Note: Payment links are not available if the sale was created using the Add item to sale tab
  2. On the Accept a payment screen, choose the Payment link option
  3. Enter your customer’s name
  4. Enter an optional description of your sale in the Memo field
    • Note: If your sale amount is greater than $500, you are required to enter this description
  5. Choose Create link 
  6. Choose Copy to copy the link to your clipboard or choose Share link to open other apps
  7. Share the link via email, text or another application

Your payment link will be randomly generated. Customization is not available for the payment portal page at this time.

The memo helps customers understand the reason for the charge and see the products or services they purchased from you. The memo also helps us monitor and protect you from fraud.

No. The customer must pay the total amount requested on the link.

Fees are the same as for manual-entry payments: 3.5% + 10 cents.

Only in the Chase POS app. As long as your employees have been added as authorized users on the account, they can create and send payment links in the app.

Yes. In the Chase POS app, tips can be added during checkout right from the app. On the Chase Mobile app or Chase Business Online, you can choose the Add a tip option when creating the payment link. When your customer is completing the transaction, they will have the option to add 15%, 18%, 20%, Custom or No tip.

 

Tip amount limits:

  • If the sale amount is less than $200, the tip cannot be greater than the sale amount
  • If the sale amount is $200 or more, the tip cannot be more than 50% of the sale amount or $1,000
