5. Veteran Owned Business (VOB)
The National Veteran Business Development Council (NVBDC) is a nonprofit developed by and for veterans. This organization provides credible certification to help military veterans access supplier diversity managers.
- According to the NVBDC, 51% or more of the business must be owned by veterans who each have served at least 180 days on active duty and were discharged under honorable conditions.
- Application fees range from $350 to $2,500.
