Yes, however this is only required for the assets used to qualify for the loan. Your Home Lending Advisor can connect you with a Chase banker in your new hometown. You can also go to chase.com to learn more about available products and services.

We have fixed and adjustable-rate mortgages available with a variety of terms. Your Home Lending Advisor can help you find products based on your unique needs.

We require a minimum loan-to-value (LTV) of 80%, with possible LTV exceptions of 85%-89.99% including substantial compensating factors. Any money being used as an asset or reserve on the purchase transaction will need to be moved to a U.S. asset account. We will need to obtain a copy of the most recent two months’ asset statements from the foreign account that shows money leaving the account and entering a U.S. asset account.

Yes. Two years of work history is needed to verify income (i.e., W2s, paystubs, K1’s and tax returns if applicable).

Traditionally, loan approval criteria require a credit score in order for you to be eligible for mortgage financing. The international relocation program does allow loan approvals without having U.S. credit. As a substitute we need to obtain a foreign credit report with translation if applicable. In situations where a foreign credit report isn't available, we will be required to create a non-traditional credit history. To do this, we will need documentation that supports a minimum of a 12-month payment history on four separate accounts. We will need 12 months of canceled checks or bank statements confirming timely payment has been made. Documentation to support your current credit history for the past 12 months of housing payment, credit card and insurance along with one other account will be needed to create the report.

Provide your Home Lending Advisor with the documents to submit for no-cost translation services. The process takes approximately one week.

Yes. Please provide all housing debt, including foreign liability.
