TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Chase Slate Edge® Card

Credit Limit Increase: If you make purchases totaling $500 or more through the first statement after the first 6 months from account opening, and have made all payments on time, you will be automatically evaluated for a credit limit increase based on our credit criteria. If you qualify, please allow one to three months for your credit limit to be increased. Your account must be open and not in default when we attempt to increase your credit limit. Any other increase in your credit limit within this period disqualifies you for this offer. “Purchases” do not include balance transfers, cash advances, travelers checks, foreign currency, money orders, wire transfers or similar cash-like transactions, lottery tickets, casino gaming chips, race track wagers or similar betting transactions, any checks that access your account, interest, unauthorized or fraudulent charges, or fees of any kind, including an annual fee, if applicable.

APR Reduction: If you make purchases totaling $1,000 or more during an anniversary year, and have made all payments on time, your account will be automatically reviewed for a 2% reduction of your standard APRs for purchases and balance transfers (“APRs”) based on our credit criteria. Your APRs can only be reduced through this benefit until they reach 9.74% plus the Prime Rate, which is 8.50% as of 07/27/2023. Your APR reduction could be less than 2% depending on your APRs at the time of review. See your Cardmember Agreement for pricing details. If you qualify, please allow one to two months for your APRs to be reduced. Your account must be open and not in default when we attempt to decrease your APRs. “Anniversary year” means the year beginning with account open date through the first statement after the anniversary of your account open date, and each 12 months after that. At the beginning of each anniversary year the calculation resets to zero and you must qualify again in the next year. Purchases made towards the end of an anniversary year may not be posted to your account until the next anniversary year and will therefore be included in the calculation for that year.

Provider Fees: Please contact your service merchant for details on any fees that may be associated with paying your bill using a credit card.

Adding An Authorized User: All correspondence, including credit cards, statements, and notifications will be sent to the name and address on file for the primary cardmember. The primary cardmember is responsible for repaying all balances on this account. Authorized users will have the same account number and charging privileges as the primary cardmember but will not be financially responsible. Chase provides account information to the credit reporting agencies for all account users. This information could impact an authorized user’s credit score. When you tell us to add a user to your account, you’re confirming that you have a relationship with the person or people whose name(s), address(es), and date(s) of birth you’ve told us, that all their information is correct, and that you have their consent to add them. If Chase determines you’ve given us fraudulent name, address, or date of birth information or did not have such consent, Chase can close this account.

Chase Offers: Chase is wholly responsible only for posting the statement credit to your account based on the data it receives from its third-party service provider. The statement credit will appear on your statement within 14 business days of Chase’s receipt of the information.

Chase Mobile App: Chase Mobile® app is available for select mobile devices. Message and data rates may apply.

Travel and Purchase Protection: These benefits are available when you use your card. Restrictions, limitations and exclusions apply. Most benefits are underwritten by unaffiliated insurance companies who are solely responsible for the administration and claims. There are specific time limits and documentation requirements. Please refer to your Guide to Benefits for a full explanation of coverages, or call the number on the back of your card for assistance.

Zero Liability: Zero Liability Protection does not apply to use of an account by an authorized user without the approval of the primary cardmember. If you think someone used your account without permission, tell us immediately by calling the Cardmember Services number on your card or billing statement.

Account Alerts: Delivery of alerts may be delayed for various reasons including technology failures and capacity limitations. There is no charge from Chase, but message and data rates may apply.
